A practical ESG programme for Malaysian SME suppliers, 90% subsidised by SME Corp Malaysia.
Your buyers and your bank are already asking. Three pressures are landing on Malaysian SMEs at once.
Anchor companies need supplier ESG data for their own disclosures, and they are asking suppliers to provide it.
Financiers apply the CCPT framework when making financing and credit decisions. Unprepared suppliers carry more risk.
Sustainability reporting expectations are flowing down the supply chain. Getting ahead is now part of staying in business.
This is more than training. It is a way to make your business stronger, easier to finance, and harder to replace.
Organise your ESG and CCPT information so financiers can clearly read your readiness and resilience.
Structured training, coaching, and a co-certification that proves your ESG capabilities, without the full price tag.
Get ahead of buyer and procurement requirements before ESG data becomes urgent or tied to a contract.
Make ESG readiness a differentiator that marks you as a reliable, future-ready supplier of choice.
Connect with fellow SMEs across your cohort, on the learning visit, and at the graduation forum, building relationships that outlast the programme.
Two physical days, one virtual day, one hybrid day, and a graduation forum. Each stage ends with something you can use.
ESG fundamentals, the business case, and starting your Sustainability Action Plan.

A sustainability development programme for SME suppliers in anchor supply chains. It runs across two physical days, one virtual day, one hybrid day, and a graduation forum, moving from ESG fundamentals and action planning through to CCPT readiness and ESG storytelling.
Registered Malaysian micro, small or medium enterprises nominated by an anchor company in its supply chain. The programme is open across sectors and delivered in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
The programme value is RM9,500 per SME. SME Corp Malaysia subsidises 90% (RM8,550), so your share is RM950. If your anchor covers the commitment fee, you pay nothing.
Five touchpoints in total: two physical days and one virtual day and one hybrid day, each running 9:00am to 5:00pm, plus a half-day graduation forum. It includes a half-day learning visit to an ESG-active organisation and coaching sessions throughout.
It follows a deliberate sequence: ESG fundamentals and the business case; the three ESG dimensions (environmental, including GHG emissions and circular economy; business and human rights; and governance); building a Sustainability Action Plan with materiality, stakeholders, targets and gap analysis; the CCPT framework and readiness; ESG reporting essentials and supply chain requirements including Scope 3; and ESG storytelling for anchors, banks and your community.
No formal ESG report or certification is required to take part. This is not an entry-level course, though, so you should come in with a working understanding of sustainability basics to participate effectively. From there, you build and sharpen your Sustainability Action Plan during the sessions, with coaching support throughout.
A completed Sustainability Action Plan, CCPT readiness, a finished ESG narrative, and a co-certification that proves your sustainability capabilities, plus networking at the graduation forum.
CCPT is a framework Malaysian banks use to assess climate risk in financing and credit decisions. The programme helps you organise the right information so financiers can better understand your business readiness, risk, and resilience.
Suppliers join through anchor nomination. Register your interest using the form, or contact our team directly and we will help you and your anchor through the next steps.
